How to Join In

Photoshoots are being held on a regular basis in Jani’s downtown urban loft-style studio, located in the Crossroads arts district. Check the calendar on the website, and make an appointment on line for your own 15-20 minute mini-photoshoot. There is no cost to you, and you will receive a free t-shirt, as well as an opportunity to purchase your images for as little as $1.95 each, and publication in “The Great Face Race” due out in 2011. You will also have an opportunity to reserve a copy of the featured book for yourself, before it’s published.

With enough participants, private photoshoots can also be scheduled on location…so get your co-workers involved and we’ll come to your place of work; get your teammates involved and we’ll come to your sporting event. If you can gather at least 7 participants, we will come to you anywhere in the Kansas City metro area. We’re also open to traveling, so if you can arrange a large enough group of participants, we’d be happy to hit the road! Images from this project may be submitted to the photographer’s stock agencies for potential use by advertisers worldwide, so a completed model release will be required at the time of the photoshoot. You will also be asked to complete some brief autobiographical information for inclusion in the book “The Great Face Race”. Models must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a legal guardian.
